Blake had grown bored with studying about defense against the dark arts, besides the fact that it was so similar to dark arts lessons frightened Blake a bit. Instead Blake hurriedly wrote a letter to his former partner in crime, Katrina. The scribblings showed Blake's fantasy of being superior and commanding toward Katrina.
Blake looked up from his latest fairy tale and studied the clock, he'd never been able to read a face clock quickly. The clock read 7:13. Blake yawned and raised his arms over his head to stretch them out. Blake stifled a laugh directed at himself, he was skipping breakfast to avoid Katrina.
Sophie had never really considered herself an awkward type of person. Formerly, she had been a rather confident girl though somewhat shy. Lately, Sophie had been feeling more self-aware. She would sometimes even catch people leering at her. Sophie had no idea why, but she seemed to dislike it. She stayed well away from larger groups of people. It was one of the boys in her year and house that had wished her a good day and hoped to see her later that drove her to remember that she had forgotten to study for an upcoming test.
And so, Sophie came to the library. The place was unfamiliar to her, but not completely strange. Sophie dragged her feet as she walked around, scanning for an empty, secluded table to occupy. Sophie noticed the awkward boy writing fervently. She faked a yawn then trudged up to his table. Standing on the far-side of it from him, she called. "Hello?" She had intended to ask for a seat, but pulled a chair out and sat at Blake's table anyway.
Gator suddenly awoke with the sound of someone talking and hastily said, "Im up!" and sat up. But when he realized it wasnt time for the lesson yet and the Professor wasn't there he leaned back and tried to go asleep again.
Seconds later, the door creaked open and Kathleen stepped inside the room. She hastily eyed the three students that were already there and with a sigh stepped forwards. She recognised Blake as a Slytherin and without further thought slipped in the seat beside him. She had never actually spoken to him and that was the main reason why she chose that particular seat. Kathy wasn't in the mood to face any of the other Slytherins and their nagging questions.
(Jeez, Asha... lol. Anyways, there isn't no D.A.D.A class is there? This was meant to be set in the Library. Hehe. Not sure if everyone realized that. Anyhow, you're present so I'll post my reply! I wanted lots of peoples to join, that's why I delayed for so long. More may join as we go though! And calm down, Asha! lulz)
Blake heard Sophie's voice close-by. He didn't know who she was or why she was close to him but in the interest of keeping his fantasies secret, Blake looked up to check her position. He coughed and pulled his little stories down into his lap as she sat across from him. Blake looked up at Asha with an shy smile when he heard some other boy yelling. Blake shook his head at the lazy child momentarily forgetting his predicament. When someone sat beside him, Blake nearly jumped from his seat in surprise. He shrugged and hunched down over the table. Not bothering to reply to anyway.
((Ooc: Shame on me for not noticing lol... thx for poainting it out.))
Ignoring the other three, Kath pulled out a book and started reading to herself. Occasionally stiffening in her seat whenever hearing a sound. At one point she shifted her position and her ankle bumped into the table. Kathy dropped the book and groaned as the pain shot through her leg.
Sophie frowned at Blake's reaction to her. She sighed then decided on moving to another table when Blake's books caught her eye. Sophie looked at Blake, who she was sure was a Slytherin. "You're studying Defence Against the Dark Arts. You're Slytherin, aren't you?" Sophie shrugged. "That book looks advanced can you teach me something?"
Blake looked up at Sophie with his mouth hanging open. He looked at her as if expecting her to have been addressing someone else. Blake looked over to Kathy at his side. He searched for any indication that Sophie might have been asking for her help.
Finding no way to avoid the encounter other than running, Blake turned back to Sophie. Finding a strange surge of comfort, though it certainly didn't fill him completely, Blake shrugged and glowered in annoyance. "It is only possible to teach the willing. Defence Against the Dark Arts is not something you can just learn with a pat on the shoulder." Blake grunted, then picked up the closest D.A.D.A. book and buried his face behind it.

Blake's scolded struck Sophie hard. Even moreso because she knew that she deserved them. She hadn't been honest with him, learning from him was not what she was interested in. Sophie was intrigued by Blake himself, even if it was only a little. With a heavy sigh, Sophie shrugged and admitted softly. "I understand. I'll leave you alone then." Sophie stood, her shoulders low and with a bowed head. She trudged away in embarrasment. It had occurred to her that she was a bit too quick to blush away from tough encounters most of the time. Sophie would still claim that the reaction was out of her control however.
The insane, on occasion, are not without their charms.

Cassandra entered the Defense Against The Dark Arts classroom with a slight sigh of boredom; it had always been one of her better subjects, and therefore she was unchallenged by it. Boring. With a capital B. Her long, raven hair was pulled back in a rather unruly, high ponytail, with most of her bangs and the rest of her hair still hanging around her face, framing her pale skin in a veil of black. She held her books to her chest, deep blue eyes darting about the room half lidded as she sized up the other two nearby. A Hufflepuff, and a fellow Slytherin of her year...oh, yes, Blake. Interesting chap. He always seemed like he was hiding something to her...then again, who was she to judge?
With a slight grin to herself, she traipsed over to her seat, just nearby the two, and sat down easily, placing her books down in front of her and sitting upright in her seat, her head held high as she waited for class to start. It was then she noticed Kathleen, or rather heard her.
"Oh, Kathleen! Didn't notice you over there," She smiled in a friendly manner toward her as she turned to see her. "Are you alright? You didn't hit your leg or anything, did you?" She sounded sweet enough..."

(Ooc: Toujours Pur doesn't actually have a D.A.D.A. class, Cassandra. What I am doing on this thread is introducing a Dumbledore's Army-esque club for us Neutral/Good peoples. You're welcome to stay. This is the library though. Not a classroom. : D. Danke.)
Blake hunched over his work in response to Cassandra's entrance. He flipped open the Defence Against the Dark Arts book and shrugged his shoulders as a cold chill ran up his spine. This uncomfortable reaction occured whenever there were too many people paying attention to Blake. At home, he was only used to being concentrated upon when a punishment was warranted. And since Blake had been busy dodging Katrina, he couldn't help but connect all of these people to her.
A soft growl came from the hunched Blake. He would change his defense method; screwing up his face into the best impression of a Dark, powerful wizard he could. Blake turned to Kathleen and prodded her hard on the shoulder. "You. This is my table, don't you know?" Blake turned his scowl to Cassandra then back to Kathy. "Do you have tickets?"

Opolious stirred. He looked up, he had a late night and it was barely light out. It was much to early for him though if there was a problem with his super hearing it was that he wasn't the heaviest sleeper. At least he wasn't when he fell asleep on top of a bookshelf. He climbed up a tall book shelf and fell asleep there just 3 hours before. Opolious sighed and looked down at the early birds. Then he yawned and stretched. After blinking a few times he started to climb down silently. Luckily no one was looking towards him. He could possibly make a few plans.
"Hello!" He said happily as he walked towards them, completly ignoring his first plan in exchange for thhe idea of allies. "Why's everyone gathered around here?"

"Tickets?" Cassandra questioned him with an errie calm to her voice, as though unfazed by his attempt at seeming intimidating. She looked to him with curious, blue eyes, tucking long strands of loose hair behind her ear and thingying her head, just a bit, as she folded her arms on the table before her.
"I thought this was the school library; I don't see your name anywhere on this table." She replied with a quirk of her eyebrow, her nails idly scratching into the wood of the table, mostly brought on by boredom. He didn't seem like the type to start anything, at least not to her. This would make things more interesting...
It was then she looked to Opolious and nodded to him with a smile; at least there was one pleasant greeting she could look forward to.
"Hello to you as well," She smiled. "And...I honestly have no idea.." She replied to his question with a shrug. "I was just bored and came here."

Blake's sense of touch went awry first. His feet felt as though they were becoming a part of the solid floor. From there, he was too embarrassed to actually smell or hear anything. With his former friend at his side, he could probably have killed Cassandra without a second thought. Though alone, in the library, it seemed impossible for some reason. Finally moving and unable to speak, the awkward boy withdrew back to his seat. He gave a dissatisfied grunt which might have been an insult if he'd been in a clear enough head to utter anything.

"Well *grunt* to you to." Opolious said smiling, He turned his attention back on the girl. She wasn't bad looking so he turned on his charm. "I havn't talked to you before...At least i dont think..Opolious Korr at your service but go ahead and call me Opo..everyone does. I think i would like to know your name too though."
Opolious took his wand out and started spinning it in his hands looking at her. He smiled careful to keep his fangs hidden. He could do magic but he didn't remember to do it after he awoke before.
