It's the year 1998. Evil won against good and now it's the bloodsnobs who make the rules. Things have undergone drastic changes, not only at Hogwarts but in every part of the wizarding world. Changes which have also effected the muggles.

Lyn raised an eyebrow, staring at Kathy coolly. She held her glare until she finally shrugged. Lyn sighed and crouched back over her work. Lyn tried to keep herself focused on the work she'd been ordered to do. She looked back up to Kathy again being unable to write anything at all. "Isn't your mummy proud of you?" Lyn didn't know what possessed her to ask that. She looked sideways at Blaise.
Kathy looked outraged. She clenched her hands into fists and glared down at Lyn. Kathleen bent down, her hands resting on the desk and her face only inches away from Lyn's. She narrowed her eyes and hissed, "Now listen to me you little brat. Don't ever mention my mother again. Do you understand me?"
Emerson finally looked up when he heard the cup Blaise knocked over when it hit the floor. Emerson wasn't usually someone who got distracted from his work, which is why he'd dismissed all the buffoonery that had happened prior. What really caught his attention was not the cup falling, but he had of course seen Blaise, a Slytherin student, approach the desk and Emerson was curious if it had been the boy's fault. Emerson's eyes widened in surprise when he did not see the Professor at all and that Blaise was sitting at the Professor's desk.
Emerson narrowed his eyes at Blaise and stood up. He looked down at Blaise coldly, "Where is the Professor?" Emerson turned to look around the classroom for a sign of the Professor.
Kathy hadn't yet noticed that Emerson was in the room as well and when she heard his voice she got distracted. She straightened herself and turned around. She leaned against the table and replied, "He was summoned by the headmistress, I believe."
Blaise glared at Emerson dangerously. Blaise rose from his chair slowly. He pointed at Emerson with a perfect finger. "You have no right to look at your betters that way! You have no right to ask me questions, much less speak to me in that tone! You sit now and get back to your assignment! Or its a trip to the hospital wing for you!" Blaise grunted and turned, fully expecting to be obeyed without hesitation.

Emerson looked to Kathy with a dumbfounded expression, he didn't comprehend why she and Blaise were in the detention room. Emerson turned to glare at Blaise as the Slytherin boy berated him harshly. As Blaise scolded Emerson, it began to dawn on Emerson why Blaise was sitting in the Professor's chair. Emerson lowered his gaze to his desk. He sat down and set his jaw as he pick his quill back up. Emerson began to carve at his parchment with frustration. Trying to forget Blaise's insults.

Kathleen was irritated by Blaise. Although Emerson was a Hufflepuff, he was a pretty decent guy and she felt the need to say something to him. Kathy approached his desk slowly occasionally glancing at Blaise. When she was close enough she bent slightly and said softly, "Don't mind him." Having said that she straightened herself and walked towards her seat. No matter what Blaise had said, her mother wouldn't have understood his 'help'.
