As happy as a clam [Cissy]

[Bellatrix Black]

"Bella will you stop that," snapped Andromeda angrily. She folded her arms over her chest and watched her older sister skip ahead of her and laughing like a crazed person. Bellatrix turned around with a huge smirk and said, "But I am happy Meda." She waited for Andromeda to catch up before walking beside her backwards. "Happy? Bellatrix you cannot possibly believe that he, or father, will let you join the Death Eaters."

The older Slytherin stuck her tongue out at Andromeda and questioned with a raised eye brow, "Why?" Meda gave a shrug and said, "You are a woman. He only recruits man." Bellatrix did not like the sound of her sister's words. She puffed out her chest and said hotly, "Then I will be the first... and the best of them all. Just wait and see Meda. I will make a name of myself. And our family will be prouder of me."

Andromeda shook her hand and refused to speak to her sister all the way back to Hogwarts. As the two Blacks stepped inside the common room, Bellatrix immediately noticed a familiar blonde mop of hair by the fireplace. She clapped her hands together and hurried towards Narcissa. Bella dropped a bag full of sweets in the blonde's lap and said in a chirpy voice, "Candy for my favourite sister."

[Narcissa Black]

Narcissa sighed closing her Potions book and threw it on the floor. It landed on the soft carpet with a loud sound. Cissy hugged her knees as she sat in her chair, with a small pout. She had no idea how Bella and even Meda managed to be so good at Potions, when Narcissa couldn't even write an essay about the most common poisons. She just sat in her chair, frowning and pouting. Not even her father could buy her the best marks in Potions.

Too lost in her thoughts, Narcissa didn't notice her sisters enter the room. She raised her head when Bella dropped the sweets into her lap. Narcissa raised her eyes to meet her sister's and a large grin appeared on her face. "Bella!" After seeing her big brave sister, Cissy instantly forgot about the homework and her other problems. "Oh, I want to go to Hogsmeade with you next time." she said as she opened the bag that Bella had brought her.

Bella grinned and somehow managed to squeeze in beside Narcissa. She gave the blonde girl a one armed hug and replied cheerfully, "Sure. But you must finish all your work. You know that for us Blacks tuition is very important." Andromeda sat down across from her sisters and watched them with a slight pang of envy. They had always been close and supported each other in everything. Sometimes, she wished that Bella liked her as much as she liked their younger sibling.

Meda shook her head and leaned forwards with narrowed eyes. "No she cannot," the third year exclaimed. Andromeda folded her arms over her chest and added, "You know the rules. Only third years and older can visit Hogsmeade." Bellatrix rolled her eyes and hissed, "Oh shut up you. Cissy deserves to have some fun." Andromeda gave her sister a look that Bella knew too well. The eldest Black wagged her finger at Meda and said, "If you tell on us, you will pay Meda. And you know I am not joking."

Andromeda huffed loudly and leaned back in the seat. "Fine. She may come," Meda said. She then turned to face Cissy and smiled at her before adding, "I just didn't want you getting into trouble... I would never tell on you." Bellatrix wished Meda could leave. She caught sight of Cissy's book on the floor and nudged it with her boot. "Cissy? Why is that book on the ground?" Bellatrix stood up and looked down at Narcissa sternly.

Narcissa moved to the side, giving Bella more space. She smiled and clapped her hands cheerfully. "Yes, I'm going to Hogsmeade! I know that Bella, I am almost done with my work. So if I finish it today, will you take me to Hogsmeade tomorrow?" Narcissa asked, looking from Bella to Meda who sat across from them, giving them a look of disapproval. The smile disappeared from Narcissa's face, as if she was worried about what Andromeda might say.

Narcissa shook her head, pouting. "Oh, c'mon, Meda! I really want to go! And you two are third and fourth year, I can come with you." Narcissa narrowed her eyes, suppressing the angry tears. She crossed her arms and turned to Bella, looking for her help. Bellatrix, just like their parents, always gave Narcissa what she wanted. Andromeda on the other hand, always obeyed the rules and probably thought that her younger sister was extremely spoiled. When Bella snapped at the middle sister, Narcissa looked away, with a small satisfied smile on her face. "Thank you, Bella." she said.

Narcissa sat back in her seat, giving Andromeda a warm smile, when she agreed that the youngest Black could come to Hogsmeade. "Oh, we won't get into trouble, don't worry. Bella will take care of that." Narcissa looked at Bellatrix with a large grin, that turned into a frown when Bella asked about the book. "Because I hate Potions!" she replied, keeping her gaze focused on the book, unwilling to look at Bella.

Grinning Bellatrix ruffled Narcissa's cropped blonde waves. She started twirling a strand around her fingers and then commented, "I preferred it long." Bella let go off Narcissa hair and passed a hand through her own. She looked thoughtful after hearing Cissy out. Before she had replied Meda said in outrage, "Not even we are allowed to Hogsmead on Sundays."

Bella lifted one finger to silence Andromeda and smiled down at the blonde Black. "Of course we will take you Cissy." Narcissa pleas and tears did not impress Andromeda. On the other hand Bellatrix and their parents always surrendered to Narcissa's behaviour. Bella wrapped a protective arm around Narcissa and then snapped at their sibling.

Seeing that satisfied smile on Narcissa's lips angered Meda, but she knew better than comment further and in the end had to agree to their plan. Andromeda rolled her eyes at Cissy's next comment. The blonde girl sure had a lot of confidence in Bellatrix. The comment filled Bella with pride, until she noticed the book on the floor. She raised a brow at her sister's response and said, "Pick it up."[/blockquote][/justify][/size][/color]

[Narcissa Black]

Narcissa shrugged when her big sister started playing with her hair. "It will grow." she said cheerfully, still occupied with the sweets the older Black had brought her. Cissy looked at Bella, waiting impatiently to hear if she had thought of a way to break the rules; Bellatrix was the best when it came to breaking school rules. When Meda spoke, Narcissa frowned and glanced at Bella, giving her a begging look. "Oh, there has to be a way! Please, Bella..." she spoke sadly.

A large grin appeared on Narcissa's face. "Thank you, Bella, thank you!" the youngest Black nearly screamed out of surprise and pleasure. She hugged Bella and gave Andromeda a rather unpleasant glance. Unlike Bellatrix and their parents, Andromeda was never too impressed with Narcissa, her desires and behavior. However, Cissy always got what she wanted and Andromeda just had to agree with whatever Bella decided. Bellatrix seemed to be satisfied with Narcissa's reaction, but the look on her face changed when she saw the book on the floor. The smile disappeared from Narcissa's face and she frowned again. She didn't want to take the book, but she knew that she would do it eventually. Narcissa bent down and picked the book up, her gaze still focusing on it, without casting a glance at Bellatrix.

[Andromeda Black]

Rolling her eyes in annoyance Andromeda leaned back in her seat mumbling something that vaguely sounded like 'Spoiled brat'. The third year Slytherin groaned softly and folded her arms over her chest. She could not understand what was so special about Narcissa. Why did she always get her own way?

"Meda. I heard that. Be nice," warned Bella.

Bellatrix wrapped her arms around Narcissa and hugged her close. Seeing that the book was still on the ground disappointed the eldest Black. She gently pushed Cissy away and straightened her back, taking on a motherly stance. It sickened Andromeda seeing how much Bella looked like Druella.

"That's a good girl."

The frown disappeared from her face and she smiled warmly at the blonde Slytherin. Bellatrix took the book from Narcissa and started flicking through it. After several minutes she handed the book to Andromeda, who reluctantly accepted it in her hands. Meda gave Bella a quizzical look, expecting an explanation.

"Help Narcissa with her work. I need to exchange a quick word with Rodolphus."

Translation... Do Narcissa's work. Rodolphus is expecting me to snog. Andromeda groaned in frustration, her eyes following Bellatrix's disappearing form. She tossed the Potion's book on the arm chair next to her and stared ahead of her stubbornly. Andromeda hated being treated like scum.
