At five in the afternoon sharp, Morgana Selwyn was slumped in a chair at the back of the detention room looking very annoyed. She was in trouble... again. And it wasn't even her fault. Meggy had been during a transfiguration class when the Gryffindor sitting behind her started making rude comments about her; about her blonde hair and that she was probably just another dumb bimbo, and that the fact she was in Slytherin did not help for sure. Morgana had never been known for a cool temper and the instance the words were out of the boy's mouth, she had whirled around and cursed him. McGonagall had caught, no surprise there. At least, she had been sent to Professor Kingston and Morgana hoped he would understand. She was quite naive in that respect, thinking that only because she was in Slytherin the professors that had belonged to her house would be latent with her. Well... professor Snape was.

It would not be completely wrong to assume Lucius would be lenient with Slytherin students. After all, his former Hogwarts house was very dear to him and he tried his best to support it as much as he could. However, Lucius' leniency was not that easily distinguishable from his normal wicked self. Perhaps the only difference between the two states of punishment was that Lucius did not whole heartedly enjoy discipling the Slytherin troublemakers.
Lucius' rhythmic footsteps could be heard tapping along the stone floor corridor as he headed toward the detention room. He was in a particularly foul mood after teaching an inept and, in his view, talentless class of NEWT students who had spent the entirety of the lesson trying to grasp the importance of diversity of offensive and defensive spells. Needless to say, the majority of the class left Lucius' lesson either bruised and beaten from an onslaught of jinxes and hexes or traumatized from hurting another student.
"Weak half bloods!" he muttered under his breath as he finally came to the room and pushed the wooden door open. The room was fairly empty apart from Morgana sitting at the back of the room and a chubby second year Hufflepuff who had fallen asleep at his desk on the far side of the room. With a hasty flick of his wand toward the boy, the lid of the desk flew up and whacked the boy right in the face. It certainly woke him up whilst giving him a nosebleed in the process. "Get the hospital wing...and don't let me catch you head butting your desk again!" he said sharply. The boy, whilst cupping his nose, scurried hurriedly out of the room and off into the corridor. Lucius then proceeded to take a seat at the Teacher's desk before addressing the remaining person in the room.
"Name and House, if you please?" he asked as a quill and a large scroll of parchment prepared to document her answer.

When Professor Kingston walked inside the room, Morgana's eyes followed his movement. She remained slumped in her chair and watched him harass the younger Hufflepuff. At first she looked shocked by what the professor did, but as she saw the look on the boy's face a soft giggle escaped her lips. Meggy covered her mouth and straightened in her chair as the Hufflepuff scurried out of the room. She watched the professor walk, almost majestically, towards the teacher's desk and seat himself. Morgana leaned forwards and with narrowed eyes fixed her gaze on the parchment and quill hovering above the table. She folded her arms over her chest and replied in a clear soft voice, "Morgana Hydra Selwyn, Slytherin."

On the word 'Slytherin', Lucius looked up from the small dark book he was reading. He leaned forward and looked at her for a moment trying to find any sign of lies on her face or in her eyes but he could see none. He then sat back in his seat and resumed reading. it was several moments later that he gave a flick of his hand. The quill suddenly bolted upright before the parchment wrapped around it and zoomed away out the door.
Lucius shot a quick look over his book several minutes after the parchment had left. The girl looked familar. "What did you say your name was?" he asked bluntly lowering the book fully. Not being able to place an identity to a face was something that had always irked Lucius. His Death Eater days had taught him to remember faces as a protection usually against some Ministerial busy body trying to unmask low lying Death Eaters.

Morgana kept her eyes fixed on the professor as he eyed her in silence. After a while it started making her uncomfortable and she had to fight off the urge of looking away. As Lucius turned his attention back to his book, she heaved a sigh and relaxed in the chair waiting to be told what to do. Within minutes, the piece of parchment the professor had written on zoomed past her and out of the room. Meggy started looking around herself, examining the classroom. However, when Lucius directed the question at her she hastily turned to look at him quizzically. Meg had been his student for four years and she knew how irritated he became when he could not remember a student. "Morgana Selwyn," she repeated. She leaned forwards and asked, "Err? Professor? What exactly is my punishment?"
